Position Summary

Perform lead role responsibilities over other associates on the Combo line.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Examine items produced to determine if items meet specifications.
• Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to works, and assign duties.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
• Analyze and resolve work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
• Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
• Set up machines and equipment.
• Perform activities of workers in department.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed for business purposes.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• High School diploma/GED (minimum)
• Must have at least two years of manufacturing experience preferably in a fabrication or production environment with at least 6 months in a leadership role
• Job requires constant lifting in excess of 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for a minimum of ten (10) hour period of time
• Job requires stooping, bending and kneeling
• Good math skills
• Be vigilant about safety
• Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
