Job Description:
The Legal Counsel serves as a legal advisor to the Company's global pharmaceutical business, advising its leadership, managers, and other stakeholders on contract negotiations, dispute resolution, policy and compliance matters, novel business issues, and contributing to the development and implementation of relevant policies and risk management strategies. The incumbent actively develops, supports, and contributes to the continuous improvement of legal processes and procedures including development of contract templates, risk mitigation strategies, and function-specific legal research. The incumbent also supports the Company's corporate initiatives, including corporate administration, transactions, dispute resolution, and other legal department initiatives, as required.
**This position is considered a hybrid position with four days/week working onsite and Fridays as remote working days. Only candidates local to the Cary, NC area will be considered.**
