The Instruction and Learning Services Librarian provides ongoing support to the OSU-Tulsa research community by developing instructional content and conducting instructional sessions, workshops and appointments across multiple modalities. This role will work in collaboration of other library staff members to provide an excellent library experience for the in-person and remote student across the Tulsa branch campus and help evolve our service offerings. Collaborates with our educational partners for a seamless learning experience with the main Stillwater campus.

This position's salary starts at $45,000

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry 10-20 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Required:
- Master's degree (Library Science from ALA accredited school; ALA accredited degree) or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of current library experience, academic preferred, relevant/equivalent teaching experience providing instruction and/or instructional design, or equivalent experience

Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge:
- Experience or understanding of pedagogy and best practices in information literacy instruction
- Understanding of instructional design, instructional delivery across multiple learning platforms and/or modalities
- Experience with providing reference and literature assistance in a library context
- Understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility initiatives for academic libraries
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to foster positive and collaborative working partnerships and relationships

Preferred:
- Degree with coursework in adult education or instructional design
- Education experience or closely related field
- Knowledge of research strategies across multiple database types and platforms
- Understanding of how to incorporate ACRL's Information Literacy framework
- Experience in developing online course materials
- Creating online content for our users
- Knowledge of open access, open education and scholarly communications like metrics
- Innovative developer of new online learning tools
- Understanding in Open Access and Open Education initiatives and concepts
