Overview

Licensed Mental Health Professional, Virginia Baptist Hospital

Job Description:

The Licensed Mental Health Professional provides therapeutic services to individuals of varying ages in a variety of clinical or educational settings. The Licensed Mental Health Professional functions autonomously and works well within multidisciplinary teams. Provides comprehensive care including assessment, consultation, treatment planning, counseling, education, referral and discharge planning. The Licensed Mental Health Professional is a leader within the therapeutic milieu or program setting.

Qualifications/Education/Licensure:

Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology or nursing fields. Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Clinical Nurse Specialist or Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Certified in Mandt Training within 90 days of hire. (Mandt preferred for Pathways staff, not required.). Certified in CPR within 30 days of hire. Current BLS within four months of hire. PATHWAYS ONLY: CSAC or CAADC certification within 2 years of hire
