Our Licenses and Compliance Paralegal provides professional legal support service in the form of legal research, drafting of legal and business communications, and assisting in preparing and maintaining legal files related to regulatory licensing, filings, and compliance matters.
Essential Duties
Assist with regulatory licensing and compliance matters.
Responsible for Secretary of State filings
Assist with tracking all regulatory licensing using License HQ software
Maintain legal and corporate records, filings, and materials
Track and follow up on various action items to ensure schedules and due dates are met.
Manage confidential legal matters and files related to acquisitions and pending litigation and assist in facilitating contract approval and execution process
Create and modify/format documents electronically including agreements, letters, memos, presentations, spreadsheets, and other related documents (may be of a highly confidential/critical nature).
Copy, scan, file, summarize, and track a variety of legal documents.
Build strong working relationships with coworkers, customers (internal and external), and company management
Education and Experience
Paralegal Certificate, preferred
Notary certification, Required
Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience
