Let Beacon Hill introduce you to a rapidly growing healthcare company in Norwood, MA. We are seeking energetic Pharmacy Technicians to join our team in a closed-door pharmacy setting. Our unique combination of long-term care and mail-order pharmacy models provides a supportive team environment with appropriate staffing resources. We are seeking a pharmacy technician available for an onsite Call Center position with a schedule Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts.

Responsibilities:

· Efficiently responds to incoming calls or makes outbound calls to patients and prescriber's offices to process medication fills.

· Schedules deliveries to ensure synchronization and maintenance of patient therapy.

· Actively listens to patients to quickly assess problems and use critical thinking skills to determine the best resolution.

· Escalates calls that require consultation with Pharmacists.

· Facilitates requests, authorizations, and communication decisions for pharmacy requests.

· Provides excellent customer service.

· Documents all call information according to standard operating procedures.

· Performs additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

· Massachusetts Licensed Pharmacy Technician required; National Certification is a plus.

· Must be compassionate, courteous and have excellent interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work 8-hour shifts between the hours of 8:00am-8:00pm Monday-Friday.

· Must be open to work in a weekend rotation.

· Strong computer/data entry skills with experience working in Pharmacy software systems.

· Critical thinker with great organizational & time management skills.

· The ability to work independently and efficiently with exceptional customer service skills.
