Position Details
Primary duties include by not limited to dispensing daily doses of medication in accordance with Virginia State and Federal regulations, assisting during physical exams in collecting vital signs, performing tests and charting and documenting, maintaining current inventory of medications in a secure environment, collecting specimens for drug screens, maintaining all medical records including but not limited to individual charts, daily medication charts, dosage records, progress notes, Doctors orders, etc. as required, and accounting for all medication used during a dispensary shift and works with Pharmacist in Charge to maintain correct inventory.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• Must be either a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in the State of Virginia
• Must maintain continuing education credits as required by the VA board of Licensure
• One (1) year of experience or knowledge in the field of drug abuse is recommended
