The Nampa OB/GYN Clinic is looking for two passionate and adaptable Medical Assistants to join their wonderful team located at the Nampa Medical Plaza on the Nampa Medical Center campus!

*** $1500 Sign On Bonus Offered with these position!***

About these Positions:

These MA positions will work one-to-one with two very busy physicians. This clinic sees a wide variety of patients and also has a good mix of providers, from OB surgeons to Gynecologists, to NPs and Midwives. In addition to the primary MA duties, there will also be opportunities for you to perform procedures, blood draws, and also help RNs with patient calls.

Work Schedule/Locations: This position will work Monday - Friday, 5 - 8 hour shifts; around the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. Flexibility is needed for shift start and end time due to the provider's schedule.

*This clinic has outreach locations at the Lake Hazel Clinic in Boise and the West Chinden Clinic in Eagle. This position will work at one of these clinics twice a month.

The Centralized Hiring Process

We are conducting a centralized recruitment and hiring process for all full-time MA positions. You will go through an initial phone screen with the Recruiter and then will interview with a hiring team from our Medical Group Nursing Leadership Team.

If selected for an interview, you will be able to discuss your preferences for type of clinic (primary care or specialty), location, and work schedule with the interview team. Resume attachments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The Orientation and Training Process

As you are transitioning into Saint Alphonsus Medical Group, our Clinical Support Team will provide an orientation program that will be critical to your success whether you are a new or experienced MA joining our team. Our goal is to provide you a path to a successful integration into a clinic setting or remaining part of our support team as a float. Your Choice!

Our Orientation offers a comprehensive, individualized orientation program that focuses on your needs and provides you with the knowledge and confidence to apply and work in either a primary care clinic or a specialty clinic. Once orientation is completed, you decide if you want to be a part of our clinical support team (a float pay differential would be added) or if you want to search for a "home" clinic.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:
    • American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)
    • American Medical Technologists (RMA)
    • National Healthcare Association (CCMA)
    • National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)
    • American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire

General Requirements:
  • Previous clinical experience preferred.
  • Electronic health record (EHR) experience a plus.
  • Experience with process improvement or LEAN philosophy preferred.
