The Sleep Medicine Clinic is looking to hire a team-oriented and personable part-time Medical Assistant at our clinic located at Meridian Health Plaza!

About This Position:

As an MA in the Sleep Medicine Clinic, you will work in a care team environment where you will work with other MAs to support an APP Provider. You will perform rooming, take vitals, collect medical history, process prior authorizations and work through other orders from the other providers.

If you enjoy working in a team environment and multi-tasking, are easy going, and don't mind some paperwork this is the position for you!


Work Schedule/Locations: This position will work 28 hours per week, Tuesdays from 7:15am - 5:15pm, and Wednesdays/Thursdays, 7:15am-5:00pm. This position will work primarily at Meridian Health Plaza, but will work 1 - 2 days a month at an outreach clinic in Caldwell.

If you or someone you love snores or has insomnia, the specialists at the Saint Alphonsus Sleep Disorders Center can help. With locations in Meridian, Nampa and Boise, Idaho,we can provide you with the care you need for a sleep disorder, close to home. Each of our locations offers a full-service sleep program that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of adult and pediatric sleep disorders including sleep apnea.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:
    • American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)
    • American Medical Technologists (RMA)
    • National Healthcare Association (CCMA)
    • National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)
    • American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire

General Requirements:
  • Previous clinical experience preferred.
  • Electronic health record (EHR) experience a plus.
  • Experience with process improvement or LEAN philosophy preferred.
