Carlisle Construction Materials Incorporated, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology, has immediate openings on day or night shift for full time machine operator positions at its Franklin Park, IL location.
This position is responsible for operation of equipment used in the production of PolyIso insulation products.

Primary responsibilities include:

* Set up, operation and upkeep of equipment - saws, foam head, compounding equipment
* Operate and troubleshoot dust collection and robotic stacking equipment
* Monitor operation for deviations and communicate to appropriate personnel
* Ensure quality measurements (thickness, squareness, width and length) are within specification
* Assist as needed with all steps of the production process to ensure the safe and timely production of quality material
* Participate in the plant's continuous improvement process

Qualifications include:

* High school diploma or GED required
* Prior machine operator experience required
* Six months prior experience in manufacturing environment preferred
* Math skills and capability to calculate square footage and batch sizes
* Ability to follow processing specifications and quality standards
* Ability to use measurement devices such as gauges and tape measures
* Effective communication and problem solving skills
* Ability to work 12-hour shifts, up to 6 days per week during busy season
