Location: Dayton, NJ
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Dayton NJ on 1st or 2nd shift for a major manufacturing company

• Perform electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting on injection and Blow mold machines, as well as downstream equipment.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery.
• Replace or repair parts on machines, including bearings, filters, cylinders, valves, motors, and other electrical components.
• Observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to identify causes of trouble.
• Dismantle devices to remove defective parts, examine parts for imperfections, and inspect used parts for dimensional changes.
• Adjust functional parts and control instruments, repair or replace defective parts, and install special functional and structural parts.
• Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines, lubricate and clean parts, and test devices for performance.
• Participate in an on-call program and work additional hours as required.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or preferred technical education at a community college or university.
• 5+ years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Full understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Prefer Electrician's License, but not mandatory.
