Job Description:

Expectations

Essential Functions:

Schedules predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities for equipment to ensure uninterrupted operation of equipment through the following actions:

  • Prepare weekly maintenance schedule and facilitate weekly PM scheduling meeting
  • Receive and process information on daily schedule and late work report from previous day
  • Prepare daily schedule for maintenance supervisor
  • Assist Planner in development of PM strategy
  • Coordinate and schedule contractors for maintenance activities as needed
  • Understand the impact of planned and scheduled work on the maintenance budget and coordinate with Maintenance Manager
  • Champion CMMS utilization
  • Manage work order priority and backlog in CMMS
  • Monitor and coordinate work orders in "Ready for Scheduling" status
  • Ensure timely completion and documentation of Preventive and Predictive maintenance activities
  • Ensure all Maintenance activities driven by regulatory requirements are incorporated, scheduled and completed
  • Compile compliance reports as needed for regulatory activities
  • Measure performance and efficiency of CMMS through Key performance indicators
    • % Scheduled work
    • Maintenance Labor Utilization
    • Missed PM Tracking
  • Support the maintenance supervisors and the engineers in efficient scheduling of work
  • Provide technical support (problem solving, etc.) to the Maintenance group when needed.
  • Support improvement projects (in support of the plant strategy), and deliver results.
  • Participate in plant safety processes
  • Support the key projects of the engineers
  • Serve as backup in Maintenance Planner absence
  • Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and skills

Education:

Associates Degree, Trade School, Bachelor's Degree preferred

Professional experience:

Minimum of 2-4 years relevant/similar

Languages:

English

Communications:

Excellent written and interpersonal communications

Skills:

Planning and organizational skills, Information analysis, detailed reporting, proficient use of MS Office, Continuous Improvement / Lean preferred
