This position is critical to understanding business performance in order to develop strategies and recommendations to inform future brand direction. The expectation is that this individual will be an expert on managing and reporting information critical to business insights and decision-making. The Manager will be a key resource for the team in answering business questions efficiently and effectively. The manager will partner closely with the International Marketing & Business team to ensure the successful entry into new markets and provide ongoing support to sustain growth. Additionally, the Manager will be responsible for all Inspire portfolio of brands outside the US (except for Buffalo Wild Wings Canada).


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Insight generation - generate insights and analytics that improve the business through the synthesis of various data sources (e.g., sales, competitor, market, customer, eCommerce, first, second and third-party research, etc.)

  • Relationship management - develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners, and participate in strategic planning meetings

  • KPI reporting - create & maintain reports to assess ongoing business performance, leading indicators, and explanatory factors

  • Business analysis - analyze brand performance & trends, including pricing, promotion, new market launch, and test analysis

  • Brand performance - analyze and monitor key metrics across brand health, product performance, and guest experience

  • Ad hoc reporting - develop, execute, and deliver reports based on brand business requirements

  • Project management - ensure that medium/long term projects are implemented on time and achieve objectives

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business or Mathematics)

  • Graduate degree preferred

  • Required Minimum: 5-7 years relevant experience in marketing, business analysis, data management/reporting, or other related area or an MBA

    Preferred: Experience working with the development of brands or concepts outside of the United States

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

  • The Ideal candidate has an inquisitive nature and a passion for learning and solving problems

  • Self-starter personality who can operate with minimal supervision

  • Understands business principles and strategy, and possesses strong analytical skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with expertise in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced functions, formulas, filtering, etc.) and database skills (e.g., SQL, Access, etc.) a plus

  • Ability to collect and synthesize information, making it relevant, understandable, and actionable for key stakeholders

  • Ability to balance multiple projects with competing deadlines

  • Effectively interact at all levels of the organization across multiple functional areas

  • Excellent writing, presentation, project management, and strong influencing skills required

  • Interest in the restaurant industry and desire to train in our restaurants to learn operations, and a strong desire to help shape the future at Inspire Brands

Decision Making Authority

  • The manager will partner closely with the International Marketing & Business team to ensure the successful entry into new markets and provide ongoing support to sustain growth

  • None currently, but the potential to grow role with International business
