Your Role:

You will manage the Tier 1 Americas region (US, CAN, Brazil & Mexico) spend for external Workforce while you focus on business partnering at Sr. Management levels & driving the global/regional strategies to achieve our targets. You will work on projects beyond externalWorkforce e.g. by taking over parts of projects with a global scope and manage cross-functional and international project teams. As a strategic player you will keep the big picture strategy in mind while executing on daily tasks. You will manage all activities related to the sourcing of external Workforce at each of the Merck KGaA entities in Tier 1 Americas countries includingthe onsite Managed Service Provider in the US. Based on your professional experience in Procurement, HR, Supply Chain, or related Consulting you will develop collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders & strategic suppliers, develop regional strategies supporting our global vision, and drive procurement initiatives through complex landscapes.

Who You Are :

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA in Business or related /MA a plus
• Experience withExternal Workforce/ MSP management
• Project management experience
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, colleagues and suppliers
• Strong communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills
• Fluent in English, Spanish and/or Portuguese. Experienced in professionally dealing with Latin America is a plus

• Strong analytical, conceptual, and digital skills (e.g. Vendor Management Systems)
• Highly motivated person ableto work independently
• Legal acumen, e.g employment laws & co-employment risks in Americas region
• Worked with ERP systems & spend reporting tools
• Experience in sourcing with a regional or global scope
• Ability to collaborate with global teams
• Experience withExternal Workforce/ MSP management
