About the Team/Position

As a Manager II, Business Analysis & Insights (Sourcing Analyst) on the Sourcing Solutions team, you will have the opportunity to impact the lives of people all around the world! You will collaborate with various teams across the Walmart enterprise to help fuel the growth of the Sourcing organization. Your work will be instrumental in fulfilling Walmart's mission to 'Save people money so they can live better'!

In this position you will provide analysis and insights for Sourcing events within the assigned business unit. This will entail developing a strong working knowledge of our sourcing event software, delivering timely and accurate analytical support to stakeholders, as well as building strong working relationships. Our team collectively strives for excellence daily; therefore, your ability to work and thrive in a team environment is essential.

You'll sweep us off our feet if...

• Excellent written and verbal communication. The ability to effectively communicate project status, process details, results, etc. in a non-technical manner. Our team interacts with various internal and external teams across the globe, making communication and relationships key.
• Analytical skills. The responsibilities for this position include data gathering, aggregating, system setup, and results reporting to support sourcing events. This will require having strong skills in Excel, SQL, and Data Visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). Experience with R and/or Python is preferred, but not required.

• Cross-functional teamwork. This position interacts with several departments within the company; therefore, having prior experience working with multiple stakeholders at various levels within an organization is essential.

• Project management. At any given time, there are multiple sourcing events as well as process improvement initiatives being executed. The ability to plan, track, and report on these initiatives will be vital to your success.
