Prologis is seeking a Manager of Operations for its Material Handling and Ancillary Revenue business who will be instrumental in continuing to grow Prologis Essentials existing platform. The successful candidate is a top producer with a strong business, entrepreneurship, leadership skills, and a willingness to grow and learn. As the Manager, you will play a key role in scaling the business and driving future growth and profitability with a Global reach. You will need to be passionate about leading and getting results to achieve daring revenue targets and to deliver successful sales and implementation results.

To date, we have established lighting, solar, material handling, and warehouse services divisions with many additional product offerings on the horizon. What's needed in order to do that:


  • Execute all strategies for continuing to develop the material handling and ancillary revenue business and achieve sales goals by maximizing our 965msf portfolio and rapidly growing our existing customer relationships to execute deals outside of our existing portfolio.

  • Lead the project execution strategy, including vendor management, for delivering successful projects to customers on-time and as promised. This includes operational Key Performance Indicator's such as delivery time, project margin, and customer happiness.

  • Participate in the development of new products to better serve customer needs including crafting and executing a detailed product plan.

  • Support the sales process for key customer accounts in partnership with the Prologis Essentials Solution management team (sales). Effectively engage with customers to fully understand their business strategy, needs and areas for improvement.

  • Work collaboratively across teams - including solutions management (sales), procurement, real estate, finance, product and marketing.

  • Establish and cultivate partnerships and relationships with key customers, vendors, and the global Prologis team.

  • Set and achieve annual and quarterly revenue, cost, and G&A targets.

  • Strong intuition for business with a results-oriented and entrepreneurial demeanor. Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, and working towards results.

  • 5+ years experience in business development and a validated history of delivering growth and results

  • Strong financial acuity with shown success and consistency in achieving targeted goals.

  • Experience in the LED lighting business an advantage, preferable but not required

  • Effective leadership and team building skills.

  • Very comfortable speaking and making pitches to high-profile business leaders, both internal and external.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

  • Collaborative and consultative approach with outstanding communication skills. (verbal and written)

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and strong desire to deliver results.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.

  • Start-up experience is a plus.


Target base compensation range of: $93,000 - $120,000, plus bonus target to be discussed during initial phone interview.
