We're growing rapidly and are searching for a Privacy Compliance Manager located in the United States to support a range of functions, including compliance with the evolving landscape of U.S., Canada, EU, and other international data protection laws and regulations. What you'll do as Manager, Privacy Compliance:

  • Manage all aspects of third-party vendor and partner relationships in a global privacy program with a focus on U.S., Canada, and EU data protection law compliance for international companies in a complex corporate environment
  • Assist the Company by drafting, negotiating, and refining third-party data processing and security agreements, maintaining a data-sharing register, conducting vendor due diligence, and updating data inventories to document disclosures to and the data systems of third parties and their sub-processors
  • Assist in developing and maintaining records of processing activities for global subsidiaries
  • Assist with drafting and implementing various data protection policies, procedures, and training materials for U.S. and EU subsidiaries
  • Counsel business stakeholders on data protection issues and practical solutions in a broad range of commercial and corporate contexts
  • Conduct and assist in the implementation of company-wide training on international data protection requirements
  • Assist the Compliance Team with miscellaneous regulatory matters about the company's operations in international gaming markets.

What you'll bring:
  • 5 years of experience across all areas of data privacy compliance in either a reputable law firm or technology company, with experience in online gaming or the financial sector preferred
  • Strong academic credentials with a law degree and bar admission in the U.S. or Canada or a bachelor's degree and either CIPP/E or CIPP/US certification
  • Strong background and expertise in interpreting and applying domestic and international data privacy laws and regulations
  • Several years of experience developing, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial contracts, including data processing and security agreements.
  • A demonstrated commitment to ethical business practice and personal integrity; and
  • An unquestionable work ethic, a strong sense of accountability, and the capacity to work cooperatively, diplomatically, and proactively with hundreds of colleagues in a demanding, global role.
