What we need:

Mohawk is looking for a People Systems Manager who can do more for all Mohawk brands across residential, distributor and builder multifamily divisions.

This position will manage, direct and influence HRIS related strategies and process that cover all domains of the current People Systems platform. Provides leadership, prioritization, communication, and engagement to manage all Hire to Retire Processes in alignment with Global HR processes and practices

What you'll do:

  • Governance for People Systems
    • System Integrity provide oversight to ensure proper protocols followed that govern system configuration and implementation.
    • Global data governance of HR master data and supporting business processes; provide oversight to ensure proper protocols are followed that govern data quality.
  • People System Implementations & Maintenance
    • Manage the implementation of new functionality including determining stakeholder and business value, requirements gathering, testing, roll-out, and ensure end-user training and adoption.
    • Manges Enhancements, New Releases and Break-Fix Processes.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Transformation agent responsible for ensuring the continued improvement of HRIS service delivery; directs change management initiatives by developing awareness, understanding, ownership, and accountability for change.
    • Monitor performance and service delivery metrics. Initiate plans for meeting or exceeding targets.
  • People Management
    • Build and maintain a strong functional team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, team building and succession planning.
    • Prepare and participate in the preparation of staff development plans, performance appraisals, and assess skills necessary to achieve work objectives
    • Instills a strong customer focused mind-set within the team to ensure adherence to service agreements and delivery of an exceptional employee experience to employees at all levels.

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field and 5 years of increasingly responsible experience in Human Resources administration or experience equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the laws, regulations, policies, procedures and practical application governing the functions of Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of the company's policies, organization and job structure, recruitment processes and regulatory reporting requirements required
  • Advanced proficiency using Human Capital Management, Workforce Management Software, Payroll Software (SuccessFactors or SAP Payroll & Benefits)
  • Knowledge of budgeting and expense control to plan, implement and maximize expenditure of funds while maintaining and improving quality standards.
  • Knowledge of Project Management

  • Excellent verbal and written communications, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively interact with Mohawk's management personnel, internal population, and external business contacts
  • Self-driven and motivated, with attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrates initiative with a clear business purpose in mind
  • Ability to communicate with others in an antagonistic situation using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflict and maintain professionalism in accordance with corporate standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and handle multiple tasks with concentration, speed, and accuracy to meet deadlines
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures
  • Ability to identify, analyze and resolve business issues through solution-oriented projects
