What you'll do...

The Freight Flow Customer Service Manager-East is a key role within our organization, responsible for leading a team and ensuring efficient operations for on time pickup and delivery, providing great customer service for our suppliers and our private fleet. This role requires a strong focus on improving service levels and working closely with suppliers and Walmart's private fleet to optimize processes.

This exciting opportunity will require team leadership, freight flow management, customer service improvement, supplier collaboration, process optimization, performance monitoring and reporting. You and your team will work primarily with 3rd party suppliers, Walmart transportation home office, Walmart transportation local offices, along with TCC leadership. This role is based out of the East Transportation Command Center in Grove City, OH and is an in-office role. This role reports to the Senior Manager at the ETCC/Supplier Resolutions Team.

• Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Conducting meetings with team members and providing feedback on performance.
• Implementing training and development programs to enhance team members' skills.
• Meeting with 3rd party suppliers and all internal stakeholders to identify and discuss challenges and steps to improve.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 2 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 4 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area. 2 years' experience with Microsoft Office.
