This position is responsible for the development, implementation and supporting a global training strategy. This position will work collaboratively with the HR team and business leaders across the organization to enhance the capabilities of the workforce.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Uses the ADDIE Model when working with SME's on Instructional design/curriculum development.
* Takes a proactive approach to conduct needs assessments by evaluating knowledge, skill levels and organizational situations to determine performance gaps and appropriate training and development solutions.
* Develop and maintain competency frameworks and models, providing development tools for each competency.
* Design, develop, facilitate and manage leadership development initiatives and programs that support the strategic direction of the organization and align with leadership competencies
* Assist in the identification, selection and implementation of leadership development resources from vendors, assist with budget management, strategic sourcing, program marketing, and internal communication of learning events
* Responsible for selection, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of high potential leadership development programs
* Collaborate with the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team to develop and update EHS training content and training tools.
* Assists set-up and maintenance of training records and documentation within the learning management system.
* Plan, develop, and facilitate training using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as instructor led training, blended learning, social learning, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
* Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of existing training utilizing assessment and evaluation tools linked to adult learning models.
* Develop relationships and consult with internal customers to ensure that the current and future needs are being met.

Education and Experience:
* A bachelor's degree, preferably in training and education, human resources, or business administration.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience developing, delivering, and managing training programs for all levels with a focus on leadership and competency development.
* Strong ability to build relationships at all levels within an organization.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience managing people and/or projects, is preferred.
* Experience setting up and managing Maintenance Training/Apprenticeship programs is a plus.
