We are currently seeking a Market Education & Training (E&T) Manager to be located in any Factory Location and report to the Market TPM Manager. The primary responsibilities will include ensuring utilization of education and training methodology, tools and strategy to support the organization performance culture and ensure competency development for all Technical and Production and Supply Chain associates, whereby enabling our people to be a competitive advantage. Develop and lead programs to support the business needs, while collaborating with factory teams and stakeholders to align on key learning priorities to ensure achievement of business objectives.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Train and Coach E&T Methodology

  • Establish and follow through on the market E&T Pillar master plan
  • Lead and support the correct methodology to meet training requirements in the factories
  • Work with the market leaders to establish the needs of E&T in terms of budget and resources to support TPM implementation
  • Deploy E&T Pillar across factories (apply E&T main roles: methodology, training and coaching)
  • Promote and align E&T methodology and approach within partners and across factories
  • Ensure E&T Pillar training material and tools provided at global level are translated and available at factory level and are clearly understood;
  • Provide training on Pillar methodology and tools to Factory Pillar Leaders and CO relevant functions
  • Align E&T strategy to cover all training needs in NCE in the factories and ensure that all factories training materials are aligned
  • Coach and support E&T Pillar Leader on factory level in terms of TPM
  • Coach Factory Pillar Leaders and CO relevant functions in terms of E&T methodology
  • Develops training and development programs and objectives.
  • Performs periodical health check assessment of each element of the E&T pillar and partners with plant and corporate teams in the development of plans to continuously improve the process through each implementation step.
  • Market owner and creator for performance based training systems including Skill Matrix, Certified Trainer Program, Performance Based Training Curriculums & Courses, Roll Profiling, On-boarding programs, Work Standards, Zero Loss culture, and equipment ownership.

Engineering Academy

  • Develop the strategy for how Engineering Academy is applied and utilized across the T&P network
  • Build and maintain a Digital Education and Troubleshooting platform for associates.
  • Create processes to ensure timely updates of learning materials within EA
  • Collaborate with the TPM and FI leaders to identify and review loss data and utilizing the man/method/machine losses to prioritize learning needs
  • Collaborate with external vendors to identify learning assets to import to EA
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Ensure learning related programs, both virtual an instructor led, include components of Learning Effectiveness for execution and continuous improvement

Network Infrastructure Development and Support

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and prioritize business needs related to man/method/machine losses
  • Identify content training needs and gaps across the network
  • Create content to meet the needs of the business
  • Develop a system to effectively maintain content
  • Ensure content is refreshed to stay up to speed with changes in business processes
  • Develop feedback mechanisms to understand the value of the content developed utilizing learning effectiveness principles (L1 - L4)
  • Identify and define measures of success for the content developed

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a Training Manager position in a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years' of experience in developing and managing training required.
  • TPM / Education & Training pillar experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into strategic initiatives and drive them to successful outcomes.
