The Senior Scheduler, Master Production creates the production schedule for the BIUS production lines to meet internal and external customer demands. This position uses production line capacity analysis and customer service requirements to create production schedules and plans. This role works
with Supply Chain Buyers to coordinate customer orders from time of order placement to delivery.

This position also helps drive continuous improvement of scheduling and provides the leadership team with reports and analysis on scheduling performance.

Production Scheduling 80%

  • Create the master production schedules to support customer service and inventory turn goals
  • Review production schedules, forecast data, sales orders, short lead requests, and other relevant information and update the production schedule as necessary; coordinate production changes with the Manufacturing team
  • Check parts shortages and communicate expedite requirements to buyers
  • Develop strategies and liaise with operational team on capacity and equipment utilization
  • Revise production schedules when provided with updated information on capacity or materials
  • Maintain customer contact and further develop customer relationships to include resolution of late order issues
  • Monitor material flow, identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues to root cause and implement corrective actions
  • Report issues with production schedule not being met by production department and root cause
  • Act as a liaison between the Materials team and Production team on demand management
  • Maintain and control SAP master data for the Planning/Scheduling functions

Reporting 20%

  • Generate production line capacity, customer on-time delivery, and production status reports
  • Document key information for analysis which includes downtime, peak production, inventory, and scheduling accuracy
  • Analyze parts usage history and generate forecasts for future parts consumption to provide to Manufacturing Buyers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Finance or Business
  • Minimum 6 years of Manufacturing production scheduling experience for multiple production lines
  • Advanced MS Excel (complete statistical analysis to uncover patterns and trend, create charts from table data in various formats, perform calculations and vertical lookups, and create pivot tables from data sets)
  • Intermediate SAP module for production planning Intermediate
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership skills, teamwork, innovation and forward planning
  • MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
