Shift 1st

Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to assure proper functions and duties in inventory control, quality, and safety.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

  • Moves materials within the warehouse space to and from trucks and inventory locations.
  • Performs daily maintenance and inspection of the forklift or equipment assigned to use
  • Performs loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Performs combing pallets to better utilize warehouse space.
  • Keeps assigned work area clean at all times in accordance to assigned areas
  • Complete any other related duties required and/or assigned by supervisor or manager.
  • Unloads, Receives, & Examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages & corresponds with supervisor to reconcile.
  • Loads materials onto carts and installs strapping, bracing or padding to prevent damage in transit.
  • Operates a stand-up side loader to move materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
  • Operates a standard industrial fork truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
  • Performs receiving process through mobile device functions, as well as stores material in proper locations.
  • Performs Cycle Counting and Inventory reconciliation on a daily basis

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED (minimum)
  • Good Computer Skills
  • Ability to recognize similarities and difference between profiles
  • Ability to add & subtract, multiply, divide.
  • Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
  • Be vigilant about safety
  • Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
