The Material Handler is responsible for performing physical and some administrative tasks involved in forklift driving, shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. This position is Monday through Friday, 2nd shift (2:00PM-10:30PM) . Some overtime may be required.

$19/hr. + Overtime and Benefits

• Operates various types of forklifts to lift and move heavy items throughout the warehouse.
• Picks orders from customer pick lists.
• Loads and unloads product from inbound and outbound trucks.
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise movement.
• Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory.
• Performs other work-related duties, as necessary.

• Experience in shipping, receiving, and product movement in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to achieve certification of material handling equipment.
• Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment and follow OSHA and other labor requirements.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Understanding of basic word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Ability to communicate with colleagues and managers in a professional manner.
• Ability to interact with colleagues in a professional manner.
• Positive attitude.
• High school degree, vocational training, GED or equivalent.
