Merakey is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Addiction Services team, in Philadelphia county, PA.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Assists providers with the examination of Person's in recovery (PIRs)
Measures vital signs, draws/collects bodily fluids and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis.
Prepares charts for provider
Prepares room for examination
Maintains steady flow of patients in medical department
Responds to medical emergencies
Completes required documentation timely

High School diploma or G.E.D Medical Assistant certificate required Certification in phlebotomy preferred Minimum of one (1) year working as a medical assistant, preferably in a behavioral health setting
