Description: Our client is currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team!

Scope of Role:
Location: Hillard, OH

Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm

Job engagement: Contract to Hire

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Prepare examination rooms and sterilizing equipment
• Room patients, obtain health history, check vital signs and perform EKG?s 3
• Administer injections and collect specimen
• Document patient care using NextGen electronic medical record software
• Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls and complete paperwork 6. Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with minor, in-office procedures
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Medical Assistant Diploma
• 1+ Year Recent Primary Care Experience
• 1+ Year Recent Phlebotomy Experience
• 1+ Year Recent Medication Administration Experience (Vaccinations)
• Ability to commute to the office location.
• Must obtain certification prior to conversion
