We are currently seeking a Medical Coordinator to join our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD) division in Harrisburg, PA.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Medical Coordinator is primarily responsible for the oversight and management of individuals' physical, medical, and psychiatric needs. The Medical Coordinator assists in coordinating medical, health, and wellness for individuals receiving any I/DD services within a given area. This will also include any specific medical skill or oversight of medical procedures for individuals receiving I/DD services within those areas. This position will be a resource to the team including administrators, directors, managers, site supervisors, staff, etc. The Medical Coordinator will demonstrate and lead all staff in reflecting Merakey's mission and core values.

• Valid Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license is required
• One year experience, preferably in medical/surgical or community health nursing is required
• Experience caring for individuals with MH/MR preferred
• Supervisory experience is preferred
