Job Summary

The Melt Operator I is responsible and authorized to operate machinery and also assists in the process to produce quality finished product.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Inter -company communications & communicating status of production runs
• Maintain clean working environment.
• Follow company applicable procedures, policies & work instructions.
• Perform other tasks as directed by management.
• Run machines to all stated parameters.
• Inspect parts to ensure customer specifications are met.

Education and Experience Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of handheld measuring equipment
• General knowledge of mechanical function.
• Vision needed to work with and test small parts.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
