Summary:

This position will work directly with Inventory Management to oversee and monitor the daily activities of the Cycle Counters and other Inventory Representatives. Establishes priorities for both the individual team members and the overall team objectives to ensure company objectives are achieved. Drives and controls inventory accuracy within the Supply Chain network, proactively addressing potential issues and applies continuous improvement and real-time problem-solving skills when working towards resolutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage NCDC Cycle Counting Programs

  • Supervise performance of the Cycle Count Team.
  • Track and Report results.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse Management to ensure Inventory Integrity.
  • Analyze reporting results and provide root cause for follow up with warehouse team.

  • Manage missing product research and Vendor Mislabels
  • Use the system to trace and research missing product.
  • Lead vendor and operational mislabel issues.

  • Train New Inventory Associates

    Manage Inventory Receiving Functions
  • Process receiving batches per daily inbound schedule working with the warehouse team.
  • Logging daily freight per completed receiving batch.
  • Print labels as needed for proper receipt and putaway.
  • Batches closed daily as well for accounting end of month close.
  • Log all completed paperwork with any RDR documentation and properly file.

  • Education, Experience and Other Qualifications:
    • Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred.
    • Years of experience: Inventory Experience preferred.
    • Valid Driver’s license preferred.
    • Computer proficiency: Working knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Office products and Storis
    • Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including order processing, picking, and shipping processes and procedures.
    • Dedicated to business and allow flexibility with work hours if necessary (standard work hours could be 7:30 – 4:00. OT as needed including Saturdays).
    Education, Experience and Other Qualifications:
    • Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred
    • Years of experience: 5 years in warehouse inventory, 2 years in 3PL environment
    • Professional Communication skills both verbal and written
    • Computer proficiency: Working knowledge of WMS and Microsoft Office
    • Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including order processing, picking, and shipping processes and procedures.
    • Dedicated to business and allow flexibility with work hours if necessary.
