Business Analyst/Product Analyst Job Description
Contract to Hire
50-55/hour & 90-100K

Responsibilities
• Defining current and to-be states within systems or organizational processes including user interface/user experience components, data governance, workflows, upstream/downstream interfaces and impact and requirements development
• Implement advanced strategies for gathering, defining, reviewing and analyzing data requirements
• Create user stories and process models to supporting business requirements. Coordinate requirements walk- through and signoffs with stakeholders to ensure that documentation accurately portrays business needs
• Work as a liaison among business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information, and information systems
• Provide peer reviews for other business analysts within the Business Analyst group for business/functional requirements use cases, business rules, and related workflows
Work with Quality Assurance to ensure appropriate test plans are developed. Assist with testing efforts as required
• Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users
• Conduct production-oriented activities by entering and extracting information from various applications and systems, manipulating data in spreadsheets; identifying and researching anomalies; and making corrections as needed
• Assist in problem resolution as needed to ensure that customers receive prompt, efficient service in accordance with company policies
Qualifications:
• 5 years related experience (website/mobile application management (digital marketing or website development) skills highly desirable)
• Broad knowledge of industry and/or business trends for own area
• Experience in fully owning roadmap, lifecycle and analysis of a product or functional area
• Advanced quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, problem solving and research skills
• Experience in performing product analysis, user study, competitive study and arriving at product roadmap and feature recommendations
• effective communication skills for writing reports/proposals and making presentations; ability to work independently and lead others during projects; in-depth knowledge of the business practices and processes; proficiency with spreadsheets and data base software; as normally obtained through a related bachelor's degree and at least five years of relevant experience.
• Extremely high attention to detail and an eagerness to optimize and enrich our systems and processes
• Deep understanding and experience in working with the agile engineering process
• Ability to seek early feedback from the engineering & business stakeholders and adjust the product requirements accordingly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to react, analyze and adapt to customer and user needs
