Job Description Summary:
Looking for a Cloud Engineer who can join Paypal's Public Cloud Engineering team and help build on Paypal's Public Cloud Infrastructure that helps all the Paypal teams to migrate to Public Cloud environments.

Job Description:

The Public Cloud Center of Excellence team within the Site Reliability and Cloud Engineering Organization enables Public Cloud Infrastructure and Platform for Paypal teams to Build, Test, Deploy, Schedule, Run and Manage their applications in Public Cloud Environments. We currently support Multiple Cloud Providers.
We are looking Engineers who can design and develop solutions which enables PayPal teams in the Public Cloud environments.

Job Responsibilities
• Rich experience in Software Developmentand Dev Ops
• Experience in one of the Public Cloud providers like AWS or GCP

• Experience in one of the programming languages like Go Lang, Python, Java
• Deep understanding of and extensive experience in design principles and programming
• Perform high quality software analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance for the PayPal core technology platform
• Leads product design and code reviews; can competently review any aspect of their product or major sub-system.
• Drives architecture discussions, and proposes solutions to system and product changes.
• Spends most of the time developing code, and efficiently produces exemplar and thoroughly tested code for the most challenging features.
• Experience in distributed systems and networking
• Work across internal customers in various geo-locations across the world
• Work with product managers to define solutions for customers
. Good understanding of the algorithm and data structure

Qualifications
• Have at least 15 years of experience in software development field

• Experience with running big infrastructure and platform at scale
• Understanding of large scale distributed systems
