Multimedia Support Specialist
Johns Hopkins Carey Business School seeks a Multimedia Support Specialist working on a casual basis to help meet the needs of the eLearning Development and Video teams. This position will have a few very specific projects and will work under the direction of the Multimedia Manager.




*This position is temporary through June 30, 2023. The candidate will work no more than 20 hours per week on average and is not benefit eligible.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Use Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise to recreate eLearning content in existing courses.
  • Use eLearning experience to recreate and enhance eLearning content.
  • Collaborate and learn from a graphic designer to improve and enhance design elements when needed.
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite to support postproduction editing and basic motion graphics workflows.
  • Collaborate with a motion graphics/ animator as needed to complete work.
  • Use Frame.io for review and revision work.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two years related experience.
  • Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a concentration in Instructional Design, Interactive Media, Learning Systems, Education, Adult Learning, Communication, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.

JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.

This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing.
