We are looking for an experienced PRN Labor & Delivery Nurse for our Nampa Maternity Center. This is a night shift position.
As an RN at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you provide hands-on patient care while collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate documentation, and utilizing resources wisely. You serve as a patient advocate by promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. You also educate patients, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and develop care plans based on patient needs.
About this Position: Located at our Medical Center off I-84 and Garrity Blvd, our RNs work in our beautiful Birkeland Maternity Center, supporting both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care, depending on patient census. We are a fast-paced department that thrives on teamwork and passion to provide excellent care.
Our ideal candidate is a dedicated team player who loves to learn and truly enjoys their calling in OB nursing. RNs working this unit will be expected to take shifts in both the Boise and Nampa Family Maternity Units as needed.
- RN license in the state of Idaho required prior to start. RN license in the state of Oregon required within six months of start date.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification
- ACLS and NRP required or obtained within six months of hire date
- PALS, STABLE and NCC-EFM certifications required or obtained within one year of hire date
