Academic Req: Required - Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services fields and progressive employment experience in the aforementioned fields. Preferred - Master's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services fields

Certifications: PRS Integrated Case Management, Board of Immigration Appeals, First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention

Work experience: Strongly preferred - At least 3 years of progressive employment experience in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services that demonstrate supervisory and case management experience. Child welfare and experience working with immigrant populations. Bilingual in both English and Spanish. Preferred- 2 years' experience in facilitating trainings.

Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables:

Assist in establishing and implementing a training strategy and goals for the Post Release and Home Study Program. Assist in developing and continually updating program training manuals and materials. Maintain post release and home study program personnel files, training records and training certifications. Consistently provide and update training for state and federally funded programs, community services and other stakeholders. Develop, maintain, and distribute a staff training calendar that provides staff numerous opportunities for development including evening and overnight shifts. Surveys families and service providers to establish national resource availability and service gaps. Ensures the program has immediate access to useful services for families nationally. Establishes and tracks systems to track resources effectiveness. Participates in task forces, coalition, and other community meetings nationwide. Creates information tracking system, tracks requested client information, and supports quarterly report development. Creates and maintains Resources Database in Salesforce that includes nationwide resources that are available for clients served and to the program. Provide Post Release and Home Study staff relevant training that meets agency, licensing and contract requirements and the individual needs of each staff. Maintain a staff training database that provides monthly and quarterly reports related to training and the impact of training on program practices and outcomes. Develop professional relationships with other peers in the field, including private agencies and supporting agencies. Meet all deadlines required by program and federal partners. Implement BCFS safety protocols in case of an emergency. Participate in scheduled meetings and team decisions and operations. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations. Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, the service population, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.

Other Responsibilities:

Develop national relationships with community providers and coalitions throughout the country. Connect the program to useful resources for families. Evaluate resource and referral effectiveness. Participate in weekly supervision with Training Director. Participate in workshops, seminars, education programs and other activities that promote professional growth and development. Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by position supervisor. National travel required (50%)

Requirements:

Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment. Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request. Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks. Support the program to secure and implement the PRS Integrated Case Management certifications nationwide. Demonstrate the ability to:

Respond sensitively and competently to the service population's cultural and socio-economic characteristics. Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals. Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times. Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures.
