Alliant Energy has an outstanding opportunity for NERC COP Analyst II to join the team in Madison, WI or Cedar Rapids, IA. In this role you will act as system administrator for the applications used by the NERC CIP Operations team to support the ongoing implementation and monitoring of Alliant Energy\u0027s North American Electric Reliability Corporation Critical Infrastructure Protection (NERC CIP) Compliance Program.
In addition, work directly with multiple Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure compliance processes are configured properly in the applications to support Midwest Reliability Organization (MRO) and Federal Energy Reliability Commission (FERC) audit activities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work in both a team environment and on self-directed tasks are vital.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 3 + years of related experience in compliance, information technology, cyber security or business analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor\u0027s Degree -Compliance, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Business Analysis or related areas.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, draw conclusions and devise solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to interpret NERC CIP regulations related to electric system reliability and/or cyber security.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse work environment.
  • Ability to be a self-starter in a thorough, deadline-guided collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
