Job OverviewSupport, maintain, monitor, and implement the university's enterprise data, voice, and wireless networks. Work with senior members of the network operations team to provide incident support, fulfill customer requests and participate in the deployment of network hardware and configurations as part of the department's ongoing initiatives.
Essential FunctionsAssociate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Trainings/CertificationsValid driver's license with an acceptable record
Required ExperienceTwo (2) years of intermediate to advanced level experience working with networking hardware and software including network design and implementation
Possess a thorough understanding of commonly used networking concepts, practices, and procedures.
Additional Qualifications ConsideredAssociate level (CCNA, CWNA) or higher industry certification (can be substituted for experience).
