RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client who seeking a Network Security & Connectivity Engineer to join their team.Summary:The Network Security & Connectivity Engineer will provide guidance and direction to vendor managed services. The candidate will ensure effective architecture, execution, and operation of network and telecommunications to support and secure business systems and processes. As the Network Security & Connectivity Engineer, you will provide guidance and direction to vendor managed services. You will ensure effective architecture, execution, and operation of network and telecommunications to support and secure business systems and processes.Other duties will include:

• Network Security & Connectivity Engineer will enable, monitor, and manage connectivity services and related security operations for on-premise and Cloud services, maintaining these within the parameters of business-aligned reliability, integrity, and risk tolerances
• Provide end-to-end expert guidance on how to manage Edge Device Connectivity, Firewall, IPS/IDS, VPN, Malware, BotNet, Web Filtering, cloud connectivity and B2B IPSec Connections, across IT infrastructure influencing priorities and decisions across the organization
• As a Network Security & Connectivity Engineer, you will communicate the strategic vision and agenda for network, voice, and security for both perimeter and internal to IT Leadership ensuring alignment and support

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in IT plus hands on experience in security and wireless set up
• CCNA or CCNP cert is highly desired
• Relevant experience with networking security and connectivity
• Troubleshooting

Equipment set up for office moves:

• Travel: post pandemic 3-4 trips per year ~10%
• Network refreshes projects/design configuration and implementation
