Description:
  • Part-Time 8am-4:30pm (No Weekends)
  • Reporting to the Director of OB/GYN Clinic
  • Location: Germantown Hospital
  • Holy Cross has an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner in our Outpatient OB/GYN Clinic. You would be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. The Nurse Practitioner utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.

Responsibilities:
  • The Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively with the physicians and a multidisciplinary health team.
  • The NP is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients. The Nurse Practitioner scope of responsibilities include therapeutic health service that focus on health restoration, health maintenance and disease prevention.

What you will need:

Required:
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a professional nursing role, a minimum of 2 years' experience in specialty area
  • Current Nurse Practitioner licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
  • DEA License
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association); additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements.
