Responsibilities

The Wellstar Medical Group Trauma Surgery practice at Cobb Hospital is seeking 3 Advanced Practice Providers for a unique opportunity to support the Trauma and Burn ICU services, based in Austell, GA. This position scheduling will be a mixture of day and night shifts; 4, 10-hour shifts. Candidates will ideally have prior APP experience in Critical Care with the ability to place advanced venous and arterial access. However, an extended onboarding process with on-the-job training will be provided for well qualified new graduates.

This position will not offer nor require OR time on a regular basis. Again, these positions will primarily support the Trauma and critically ill Burn Service inpatients. However, there will be required support coverage for the General Surgery service overnight (taking 1st call at night and routing appropriately) which may present unique opportunities to assist in the OR if all Trauma and Burn service needs are met at that time.

Qualifications

Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible to work in the U.S.
