Description:
Judge Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Manager for one of our Best clients

Location: Minneapolis (Seward and Longfellow) and New Hope

Schedule: Primarily weekdays

Nursing Manager Responsibilities:

Oversee nursing functions for 80 residents receiving supporting housing services in three programs, who are living with mental illness, chronic health conditions, chemical abuse and/or with lived experience of homelessness

Coordinate, oversee and provide initial assessments and reassessments for residents as required by Minnesota Department of Health

Coordinate, oversee and provide orientation, training and supervision to unlicensed professionals ensuring competency standards are met for monitoring and administrating medications

Supervise a team of 8 full-time and part-time nurses and assistants who work collaboratively with program leaders and staff members in providing care to residents

Ensure nursing functions, medication administration, medication management, infection control, and related services are completed and documented to comply with Comprehensive Home Care licensing requirements, Minnesota Department of Health licensing requirements, and other regulatory requirements

Ensure nursing policies, procedures, and protocols comply with Comprehensive Home Care licensing requirements, Minnesota Department of Health licensing requirements, and other regulatory requirements

Coordinate and participate with the nursing team to provide on-call support to program leaders and staff members in providing acute care to residents

Nursing Manager Requirements:

Must have and maintain licensure as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota

Must maintain a valid driver's license, valid insurance, and acceptable driving record

Experience supporting adults with mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders strongly preferred

Experience supporting diversity initiatives preferred

Experience in a leadership role preferred
