We are looking for an Order Management Specialist (OMS) to join our Customer Success team at our Petersen Aluminum facility in Phoenix, AZ.

The OMS is responsible to service key accounts working in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager and Outside Sales Representatives to meet the needs and expectations of all Petersen customers. The OMS provides customers with timely communication, product information, and accurate orders/quotes. The OMS will serve as the customer's advocate from project start to finish.

Job Responsibilities:

Develops and maintains customer relationships making customer satisfaction top priority
Provide timely support via phone and/or email in response to customer inquiries including but not limited to entering RFQ's, orders and RMA's, expediting, and providing product data
Responsible for order entry of customer purchase orders into Metalware/ SAP and validating data integrity
Pro-actively manage backlog to ensure scheduled deliveries are met and track open quotes and projects with key customers
Verifies lead times on purchases orders and communicate to the customer
Support requests from outside sales representatives and sales managers to ensure customer needs are met
Interacts with internal departments (credit & production) to ensure customer expectations are communicated and met
Ability to anticipate issues and work with cross-functional resources for problem resolution
Prepares documentation as needed and handle all documents and correspondence professionally and in a timely manner

Job Requirements:

High School diploma or GED required with 2 to 5 years of experience in roofing industry, architectural metal sales or similar construction industry is a required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings preferred
Strong listening, organization and problem-solving skills
Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills
Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations
Professional communication skills

• Education - High School diploma or GED required with 2 to 5 years of experience in roofing industry, architectural metal sales or similar construction industry is a required
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in roofing industry, architectural metal sales or similar construction industry experience is preferred.

• This individual must be willing to make cold calls on prospective customers under the supervision of the Sales Agent/Representative, Sales Manager, or Regional Manager
