The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead will kick off with Columbia’s D365 ERP initiatives, including OCM impact assessment on systems/customers, OCM strategy/Plan, and partnering closely with both our internal customer’s and external partner in implementation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles and success in completing multiple full lifecycle implementations and have at least 10 years’ experience with Organizational Change Management.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The OCM Lead will bring strong Organizational Change Management expertise to manage a team to design, develop and execute an Organizational Change Management approach for a large, decentralized customer base, targeting administrations, stakeholders, and users at all levels of the organization.
  • Lead the design, development, execution, and management of an Organizational Change Management strategy and plan for a large-scale company-wide implementations.
  • The strategy and plan will address changes in business processes, organizational structure, and culture within the CFP organization.
  • Work closely with the key stakeholder & business partners to ensure proper alignment and communication of an operating model, organization, business processes and priorities.
  • Collaborate with people across Columbia and in the industry to bring innovation to our systems. Influence the IT Team culture to strive for a clean architecture, sound engineering practices, and a growth mindset.
  • Establish a communications plan and strategy to ensure consistent messaging across the program and affected stakeholders.
  • Advise the client in prioritizing recommendations for short- and long-term organizational effectiveness enhancement initiatives.
  • Bring your expertise and industry best practices to establish approaches, methodologies and tools to support OCM initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison to stakeholders to promote program awareness and generate overall support for program activities and achievement of program objectives.
  • Collaborate with team members to support OCM-related risk mitigation/issue resolution.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to the client and OCM team members.
  • Implement different change models and approaches to fit various scenarios and organizational cultures.
  • Maintain technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights, collaborate, and share with the technical community while educating internal customers.
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

Skills:
  • Relationship Building. Proven track record of building deep relationships with implementation decision makers and team members. Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solutions/projects. Strong interpersonal skills; approachable and viewed as a responsive resource across the organization. Superior ability to influence others, facilitate processes, and coach/advise people leaders.
  • Business Acumen. Quickly understand Columbia’s industry regulations, necessary security controls, and business necessities to have relevant discussions with decision-makers. Strong organization and time management skills to prioritize, delegate tasks and set goals for productivity. Excellent judgment, strict adherence to confidentiality requirements and the utmost professionalism in all situations.
  • Problem Solving. Ability to solve security, compliance, and data protection problems through cloud technologies. High degree of flexibility and tolerance for change. Possess a growth mindset and perpetual curiosity to keep skills up to date and expand your knowledge through continuous learning.
  • Collaboration and Communication. Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of projects. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences. Ability to translate complex concepts into simple, understandable stories. Possesses an eye for detail and able to manifest ideas into a tangible form. Ability to communicate both technical and non-technical themes between SMEs, staff, and participants.
  • Proven Success Record: Able to drive the complete execution of the OCM activities with autonomy when needed. Ability to work across multiple OCM tools and Methodologies. Hands-on experience in executing large scale OCM/ Transformation projects. Demonstrating a strong understanding of all aspects of organizational change management and organizational design (e.g. considered a subject matter expert and go-to person relative to OCM).
REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & LOGISTICS

Skills:
  • Fluent in English (French-Canadian or Spanish as secondary would be ideal)
  • Ability to establish effective relationships with people in a multi-cultural, multi-language environment.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience related to full-cycle delivery of change management programs, deep understanding of OCM methodology and tools typically leveraged in successful change programs
  • Minimum of 5 years of consulting experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience
  • Strong leadership, relationship management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong desire to build/maintain relationships with key business partners to ensure alignment of Corporative initiatives with Lean business goals
  • Maintain technical knowledge through aggressive release cycles.
Logistics:
  • This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements, background check, and the ability to travel outside of the United States. Current passport
  • Availability to travel (up to 50%) to company locations as needed for success
  • Ability to work remotely on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
