The NurseManager is responsible for creating and sustaining a healthy work environmentfor staff which fosters excellent professional nursing practice, shareddecision-making, interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration resulting inpositive patient and staff outcomes.
The Nurse Managersupervises all nursing and unit-based personnel in the department in order toprovide a safe, caring environment for patient/family and staff. The Nurse Managerplans, develops, implements, evaluates and monitors policies/procedures,budgets, the allocation of resources, continuous quality improvementinitiatives, educational programs and shared governance/shared leadershipcouncils to achieve departmental and organizational goals and objectives.
Idealcandidates for the Nurse Manager role have the ability to assess operationswith a critical, keen, approach, and are proactive with minimal guidance toproblem resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors of Nursing Degree required
Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire required
2.5 Years of experience required
