Exciting NEW opportunity exist for an experienced clinician who want to be at the forefront of Aspire's service delivery transformation to provide timely accessm and coordinated care integrating mental health and substance use disorder services!

The Outpatient Triage Clinician is an excellent diagnostician, with expertise in triage to assess appropriate levels of care. In addition, the Clinician is skilled in providing evidence-based brief interventions for clients coming to Aspire for urgent or same day services and then 4 to 6 visits, if needed for a brief intervention. The Outpatient Triage Clinician has the knowledge and expertise to assure clients receives appropriate ongoing services with either Aspire or external community partners across the health care and social services continuum.The Outpatient Triage Clinician is a critical leader in the collaborative team of providers that include medical colleagues, client navigators, peers, recovery coaches and family partners.

Required Skills

  • Excellent diagnostic and risk assessment skills
  • Knowledge of substance abuse disorder assessment and intervention skills
  • Case management skills including the ability to obtain information on needed resources
  • Computer skills for clinical documentation

Required Experience
  • Experience in Motivational Interviewing and Harm Reduction interventions
  • Understanding of diagnosis and treatment for adults with serious mental illness and/or diagnosis and treatment of children and families
  • Experience providing telehealth services to clients
  • Prior clinical care planning experience
  • Experience in completing comprehensive assessment of clients and providing clinical feedback and treatment recommendations
  • Master's in Social Work, Counseling, or closely related field
  • Clinical License preferred
