Painter - Samaritan Hospital - Full Time Days

Must be vaccinated against covid-19

Performs all painting and vinyl wall covering tasks related to maintenance and new construction in the long term care setting.

What you will do:
  • Painting of interior and exterior finishes, hang and repairing wall coats.

Responsibilities:
  • Able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
  • Develop material lists
  • Ability to match and mix paint colors
  • Prepare surfaces for finishing
  • Display proficiency in the use of hand and power tools
  • Stays productive between assigned tasks
  • Keeps work and storage areas neat
  • Tools and equipment are kept clean and operable
  • Work is completed within a time frame acceptable to the supervisor
  • Adheres to established procedures and rules; reports for work regularly and timely

What you will need:
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a painter/related field
  • Vehicle to travel to various sites - mileage will be reimbursed
  • High School Diploma / GED
