Job Description

Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP is seeking a Paralegal to join its Real Estate Practice, in one of its West Coast or Texas offices. The successful candidate will work in a friendly, collaborative environment and be responsible for coordinating loan and other real estate closings (e.g., working on closing checklists and documents, setting up closing rooms and coordinating signings and all aspects of real estate transactions), title and survey reviews, formation of entities and handling filings regarding LLCs, partnerships and corporations with governmental agencies (such as the Delaware Secretary of State and other state SOS offices),preparation of UCC's and UCC filings, and maintaining electronic and other files .

Successful candidates should have three (3) or more years of commercial real estate paralegal experience along with a college degree. Candidates should possess strong organizational, communication and time management skills, be proficient with MS Office Suite. Being a licensed notary a plus.

Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for the position in accordance with the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
