Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

As Intuitive's Philanthropy Legal Counsel, your time will be donated by Intuitive to Foundation, to provide critical legal advice and counsel to help advance Foundation's philanthropic endeavors. This is a part-time position.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • You will collaborate closely with others supporting the Foundation on projects including:
  • Defining policies and guidelines
  • Ensuring legal compliance including for data privacy requirements
  • Negotiating and drafting agreements and terms and conditions
  • Reviewing outward-facing communications
  • Advising working committees on legal considerations in their projects
  • Educating other personnel regarding legal compliance and considerations

 

You will attend critical committee meetings and help identify and address legal needs.

 

Experience and Education

 

Juris Doctorate.  Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state.  California license preferred.

At least 5 years of relevant experience, including transactional and philanthropic experience.

Self-starter with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Able to excel working individually and in teams.

Outstanding organizational skills, time-management ability, and attention to detail. Skillfully prioritizes and juggles multiple contemporaneous deadlines.

Excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skill. Thrives in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Experience and Education:

  • Juris Doctorate.  Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state.  California license preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, including transactional and philanthropic experience.
