Department Information

The Office of Strategic Communications & Marketing delivers and supports strategic and innovative communications and marketing technology across all of OEM to advance student recruitment, service, and success. The department collaborates with campus partners to actively influence strategy, practice, and innovation.

Job Summary

Under direct supervision, this position assists in daily support in the management of the marketing projects in the Office of Strategic Communications and Marketing in the Office of Enrollment Management.

  • Coordinates support for project management activities, and communication.
  • Develops project schedules designed to meet necessary deadlines and communicates those schedules and deadlines with team members.
  • Monitors the progress of multiple projects and handles moderately complex issues that arise.
  • Ensures all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Performs a variety of administrative duties, such as setting up meetings, and preparing project-related correspondence.
  • Maintains a detailed, organizes file and records system, the majority of which are online.
  • Work in Project Management System to assign projects, communicate with team members, etc. on a daily basis.

EDUCATION

Required
  • Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University.
WORK EXPERIENCE

Required
  • 2 years of office experience.
SKILLS

  • Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Working Conditions / Demands

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
