Title: Performance Test Engineer

Work location: REMOTE (Local or open to relocate to Atlanta, GA)

PERFORMANCE TEST ENGINEER

Must Have Skills:

• Experience building out new performance automation scripts for new development
• Experience driving regression tests and troubleshooting code
• Experience with Cloud; Azure, AWS, GCP (preferred)
• Experience working alongside and partnering with engineering teams

Day to day responsibilities:

• Identify non-functional requirements, i.e. performance and resilience in business requirements, define Feature (enablers), acceptance criteria at the early stage of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Prepare, execute and evolve performance and resilience regression test suites for Authentic release cycles.
• Work in a scrum team to influence early testability guidelines 'shift-left testing', ensure adequate test coverage against test acceptance criteria and overall system reliability, performance, and quality.
• Create a predictive hardware and application requirement model for performance testing based on the customer performance testing requirements i.e. TPS, throughput or in 4given hardware etc.
• Investigate performance bottlenecks on application and databases collaborating with Architects, SME and DBA.
• Define and implement performance test strategy for on-prem and cloud installation of the same product.
• Set up and maintain cloud and on-premise performance test environments with required data, software/hardware configurations and simulators.
