The 340B Pharmacy Inventory Compliance Technician works under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Director. Duties include but are not limited to assisting the Pharmacy Director in overseeing the activities of the 340B Drug Pricing Program for all qualified entities within the Northern Montana Hospital 340B program; maximizing 340B Program participation while maintaining full compliance with program rules; and maintaining the drug inventory. The 340B Pharmacy Inventory Compliance Technician does not perform duties that can legally be performed only by registered pharmacist.

REQUIREMENTS:
1) High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.
2) Must be good moral character and have no history of drug addiction or misuse.
3) Current certification as Certified Pharmacy Technician by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National HealthCare Association (ExCPT) and the Montana Board of Pharmacy.
4) Must have typing ability and good telephone etiquette.
5) Must have ability to follow oral and written instructions with accuracy, speed, and dependability.
6) Must be able to handle frequent interruptions and be flexible in workload and schedule.
7) Must be able to set priorities, solve problems, and respond quickly to emergency requests.
8) Must be able to work cooperatively with staff within pharmacy and in other areas.
9) Must be dependable in attendance and job performance.
10) Must possess effective and verbal written communication skills, allowing for the ability to read and interpret a broad range of prescription terminology and medications.
11) Must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
12) Knowledge in using Microsoft Excel and Word and other computer programs/software related to 340B compliance.

Salary commensurate with up to 15 years experience.
